Winning the 2020 National Brand Award for non-woven cloth 'LIVSEN'

At the "2020 National Brand Awards" held at the Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel on June 26, TAK's SpongeBond brand "LIVSEN" won the grand prize in the industrial hygiene product category.

The National Brand Award is a system that Maegyeong buiz and Magyeong Dotcom jointly survey and evaluate with the Consumer Brand Evaluation Institute to certify brands with excellent brand power under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Science and ICT.

Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., have been said to have developed global competitiveness along with the development of the domestic non-woven fabric industry through continuous investment since it launched Korea's first non-woven fabric business in 1990. In particular, in the global mask shortage caused by COVID-19, sales, production and R&D departments developed SMS non-woven fabric with more innovative products for quarantine. Therefore, it was selected for the national brand award in recognition of the brand power of Asian No.1 SpongeBond non-woven fabric LIVSEN, which contributed greatly to the national crisis by contributing to the smooth supply of masks with innovative technology.

Meanwhile, Park Seo-jin, SVP of SB Business Division, who was awarded on behalf of the company, said, "I am happy to contribute to the people's hygiene through SpongeBond non-woven fabric. We will continue to make efforts to realize corporate social responsibility through material innovation."
