Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) announced that it held an in-house charity market, putting sharing and resource reuse into practice by selling items employees no longer use.

The market featured clothing, household goods and other items voluntarily donated by employees for sale within the company. The event was organized to give unused items new value and encourage resource reuse and a culture of giving through sharing among employees.

All proceeds from the market, along with any unsold items, will be donated to non-profit organizations, adding significance to the event by turning employees’ small actions into social value.

As the charity market provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of resource reuse and giving through small acts of sharing in everyday life, TAK will continue to create social value through social contribution activities involving its employees.
