President Jeon Hae-sang won the Best Innovative Management Prize at the ‘2021 Samudang Textile Fashion Grand Awards.’

President Jeon was selected as the winner of the award in recognition of his efforts to foster Toray Advanced Materials Korea as a global first-class company by focusing on innovation of industrial textile materials and enhancing international competitiveness of the textile industry and his contribution to society through material by converting the line of diaper sanitary goods to the production of MB filters for masks under the policy of ‘national safety’ in the covid-19 emergency.

The Samudang Textile Fashion Awards are awarded to businessmen, heads of organizations, high-ranking government officials and individuals who have contributed greatly to the development of the textile and fashion industry in Korea. Hosted by the International Textile Newspaper, the award, sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Textile Industry Association, marks its 28th anniversary this year.

Meanwhile, this year's awards ceremony was held on June 22 in a non-face-to-face manner due to social distancing.
