Toray Advanced Materials Korea’s Security Team Kyung-Hee Lee received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy at the 2023 Trade Security Day ceremony held at COEX in Gangnam on July 5.

Ms. Lee received the commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy in recognition of her achievements in implementing the export control system in an exemplary manner through stable management of strategic materials.

In addition to the award ceremony, special lectures were held at the event, including Trade Security Expert Forum, CEO training (CEO Update), and Compliance Program Workshop etc.

Trade Security Day event is being held to raise awareness of trade security and to encourage business associates who have contributed to the development of export control systems. 

Meanwhile, Toray Advanced Materials Korea was designated as the highest level of compliance trader (AAA grade) in April 2014, and was recently re-designated with the same grade in April 2019.

This award is more meaningful as it is the fourth award following individual awards in 2014 and 2016 and group awards in 2019.
