President Jeon Hae-sang announced to participate at ZERO Challenge Campaign (Zero Disposable Products Challenge) for eco-friendly and ESG management on September 7.

ZERO Challenge Campaign (Zero Disposable Products Challenge), launched by the Ministry of Environment on last February, is an eco-friendly campaign to reduce the use of disposable products and increase the use of reusable products in daily life.

President Jeon Hae-sang said “It is meaningful to participate for the campaign reducing disposable products that he will focus on developing the eco-friendly products as well as ESG management.”

Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) recognizes that eco-friendly management is an essential element for a company's sustainable management, and this year, TAK has expanded its facilities for super engineering plastic PPS resin and carbon fiber capacity to reduce weight. At the same time, TAK advances into the secondary battery separator business for electrification and into the water treatment plant operation management business for resource protection. TAK is contributing and strengthening the future value by expanding into the field of eco-friendly advanced materials.

Also, TAK is contributing to creating resource circulation ecosystem and strengthening the ESG competitiveness of customers by recovering not only by products generated in the production, but also by products generated by customers and recycling them into products that customers want.

In addition, the PPS resin produced at the Gunsan plant has acquired ISCC PLUS, an international certification system for sustainable eco-friendly products, and has been recognized for its product competitiveness for preserving the global environment.

President Jeon Hae-sang participated this challenge after being nominated by the President of LX Hausys Han Myeong-ho. President Jeon Hae-sang recommended President of STEMCO, Eom Young-ha as the next participant.
