Toray Advanced Materials Korea (TAK) received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy, the Chairman's Award of the Korea Textile Industry Association, and the Achievement Award at the 37th Textile Day ceremony held at the Korea Textile Center on the November 10th.

About 250 people attended the ceremony, including 1st Vice Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Jang Young-jin, and Chairman of the Korea Textile Industry Association Choi Byeong-oh, with corporate officials.

Paper Business TFT Manager Choi Won-jeong received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy for his achievements in developing highly heat-resistant insulating meta-aramid paper. The Spunbond Non-woven Production Team Assistant Manager Koh Jeong-rae received the Chairman's Award of the Korea Textile Industry Association in recognition of his early stabilization of the expansion facility process and his achievements in local production.

In addition, Chairman Lee Young-kwan received the Achievement Award in recognition of his contribution to the development of the textile industry, and Textile Business Division Director Soo-jeong Moon accepted the award on his behalf.

Chairman Lee Young-Kwan delivered his message that "Toray Group will actively cooperate to improve the global competitiveness of the textile industry" upon receiving the award.

Textile Day was established in 1987 to commemorate the achievement of textile exports of $10 billion for the first time in a single domestic industry.

It is currently celebrated to promote the sustainable development of the domestic textile industry and to praise the hard work of textile fashion people who have contributed to the development of the industry; The event has been held every year until now.
