TAK donates KRW 100 million for Wildfire Recovery in Yeongnam Region

Toray Advanced Materials Korea (CEO Kim Young-seop) has donated KRW 100 million to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to support recovery efforts following the recent wildfires that struck the Yeongnam region.

The donation will be used to help displaced residents restore their daily lives and to aid the swift recovery of the affected areas.

Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility by taking meaningful action and standing in solidarity with communities suffering from disaster-related hardships.

CEO Kim Young-seop stated, “We extend our deepest sympathies to the residents impacted by this unforeseen disaster. TAK will continue to take the lead in overcoming crises together with local communities, grounded in our ESG management principles.”

TAK has a consistent track record of social contribution, including donations of KRW 300 million for COVID-19 relief and KRW 100 million for flood recovery in 2020, as well as KRW 100 million for wildfire recovery in the East Coast region in 2022.
