Toray Advanced Materials Korea (TAK, President Kim Young-seop) announced on September 1 that it donated approximately 50 “Safety Kits for Premature Babies,” handmade by its employees and their children, to Changemaker, a social welfare organization, to support the healthy growth of premature babies.

Each safety kit consists of a neck pillow that helps support the babies’ neck and spinal health, and a bib for hygienic feeding.

Employees who participated in the donation said, “Making the items for premature babies together with our children made the experience even more meaningful and gave us an opportunity to reflect on the value of sharing. We hope our small gesture will offer warm encouragement to premature babies and their families.”

Each year, TAK carries out a variety of social contribution activities for underprivileged children, including Sending Love Santa, making Braille teaching materials and holding blood donation campaigns. The company will continue to carry out employee-participation social contribution initiatives.
