The lighting ceremony of Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK)’s Gumi Plant 1 Solid-State Polymerization Tower held on March 2 with a variety of content every evening.

The landscape lighting is for encouraging the sustainable growth of Gumi and improving the image of the city’s brand, with TAK participating as a representative. 

Over 50 people attended the lighting ceremony, including TAK CEO Jeon Hae-sang, the Mayor of Gumi, as well as members of the National Assembly and the city council. The ceremony began with a report on the proceedings, followed by the welcoming speech, congratulatory address, and the lighting event.

In the welcoming speech, Jeon emphasized that the nighttime landscape of Solid-State Polymerization Tower will be a new landmark that can upgrade the dignity of Gumi and enrich the space with diversity, thereby serving as a ‘light of hope for new growth,’ and it will widely promote Gumi, presenting an image of being an advanced industrial city to people all over Korea.
