The 20th anniversary ceremony of Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., the VISION 2030 Declaration and the Korea Toray R&D Center were held at Kumiko and Korea Toray R&D Center on Tuesday.

Some 300 people, including former Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Lee Hee-beom, former Minister of Education, Science and Technology Kim Do-yeon, former Deputy Governor of North Gyeongsang Province Jeon Woo-hun, Gumi Mayor Jang Se-yong as well as customer companies, Chairman Toray Akhiro Nikkaku, CEO Lee Young-kwan, CEO of the Korea Center and executives and employees, attended the ceremony and the ceremony, respectively.

First, in his commemorative speech and welcoming speech, Chairman Lee Young-kwan thanked our customers and business partners for their growth so far since the company was launched, and asked them to continue to evolve and grow in the future by further utilizing our energy and pride.

President Jeon Hae-sang declared his mid- and long-term growth goal of VISION 2030 and announced that the company will grow into a first-rate company with 10 trillion won in sales and 1 trillion won in operating profit by 2030. To that end, we will actively advance into five new global growth areas of display, new mobility, smart factory, eco-friendly materials and healthcare solutions in response to the entry of hyper-connected society, and expand our existing businesses to become global leaders in the material industry."

In addition, President Jeon emphasized three core values that executives and employees should have in order to implement their vision: "Sharing and communication, strengthening execution and creating synergy." He also urged the company to continue its growth over the past 20 years with the 2030 election, and to become a first-rate company of the global leader of the material industry by taking the second leap forward.
