Toray Advanced Materials has been thoroughly complying with foreign trade laws and regulations to prevent strategic materials, including carbon fiber, from flowing into countries of concern or terrorist organizations. In recognition of its efforts, it was designated as a self-compliance trader in June 2011, and has maintained the AAA grade designation, which is given only to the highest level of self-compliance traders since April 2014. In addition, it has established itself as an excellent example of establishing a self-compliance management system in Korea by receiving a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy for its contribution to the establishment of a national-level self-compliance system on Trade Security Day in 2014, 2016, 2019, and 2023.
